In line with the White Paper "Our Care, Our Say", the Department of Health has proposed that there should be a range of treatments available for patient with long term conditions. In this presentation, the choice of where a patient would receive treatment for pain is explored. The benefits and limitations of care both within the community and in secondary care are explored.
